Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the remover of obstacles, and as the god of wisdom and success. By worshipping Lord Ganesha the elephant headed god, a hindu seeks divine support for overcoming obstacles and achieving success in one’s endavours. His vehicle is the mouse, represents the ego which is controlled by the calm and wise Ganesha.
